I got a new iMac yesterday, 21,5" with 1TB HD.
Pretty sweet! I also got my first wacom tablet,
so tested it out today. This is my first drawing
with a digital drawing board. Haha! Enjoy!

Sorry I haven't been so active here as I would like. At the moment I am very busy illustrating
my first children's book for Cappelen Damm. It is very exciting! I can't show you anything of what I am doing until the book itself is published, so you have to be patient. Hopefully this project is one of many to come.

In the meanwhile, I do have some self negotiated projects in the works :) So it will not be long until I upload something new. Also, getting a new iMac soon. Good times!

So.. today I got a new scanner, and started experimenting about. Actually, I have been sat still drawing/painting/scanning/copying/printing for 7 hours now.. love it! I cant wait to get up tomorrow and do it all over again.

It has been a while

it is a while since I have written something on here, which is a shame. I really should
update this blog as much as possible. Due to not having posting much, is frankly because I
do not have any new work, except for an editorial which I can't really show here until the
next issue of Campus is out.

I have been busy setting my illustration up as my own business, and also writing a proper
cv (finally!). I have moved in to my sisters appartment in Oslo, which is lovely, and I am not paying any rent. However I am the one who needs to clean and cook, which is fine with me haha! I am also writing a business plan, and learning how to actually run my own business.
There is a lot to get my head around..

I have also sent off work to juvenarte, a competition for norwegian art students
who are/have been studying abroad. There are 2 rounds, one to send in your work digitally,
and the second one (if you are taken on further) to send in your work framed in. I did this yesterday, and I went straight to ANSAs offices in Oslo who are responsible for Juvenarte.
It was nice saying hello and introducing myself. What I have to do now is to wait for the end
of august to see if my work is taken on to the actual exhibition. I am crossing every bone in
my body as this is quite a presitigious exhibition to win.

I also have to order some proper business cards, and I need to redo my website as I am not
happy with how it is looking at the moment.

So much to do..

It is all good though! Just keep on pushing what I am doing, and eventually, I will be fine.

My first blog ever

So, this is the first blog I have ever written in my 22 long years. It is time to get started I guess.
I will use this blog to show my illustration works, which I hope you will appreciate :) I will also write about my life in general, which is probably not as interesting as my illustrations.

At the moment I am illustrating articles for the biggest student magazine in Norway, Campus, which I am very proud to be doing. I finished a new one today, but I will not reveal the subject or the illustration before the magazine is printed and in the shelves.. ;)

Right now I am considered about the huge amount of work I have to do at uni, because it is quite a lot. And I have an exhibition which starts this coming monday at Babahogs artcafe in Falmouth. I have yet to finish all the pieces! Uh oh. This is due to me just recovering from tonsillits. It will be okay though. I just need to work really hard for the next couple of days.

Anyways.. thats it for now :)
